My husband and I don’t have television and we don’t get the newspaper. However even in our relatively isolated state we are shocked at the media frenzy over the Swine Flu. We are amazed at how out of control this news item has become. I encourage you, don’t believe everything you hear on the news and do some research on your own. This “outbreak” really isn’t that big of a deal…especially when you consider the following:
25,000 people die each day of starvation
one African child dies from malaria every thirty seconds
60,000 people die each year from pneumonia
Smoking causes the death of 44,000 Americans each yearÂ
